A blood covenant establishes a close bond between two persons not linked by kinship. It could be two lovers, siblings or friends.

We know that people hardly know everything about their partners at the beginning of a relationship, because most times, couples are not willing to disclose everything about themselves from the outset.

Let’s say you’re in the middle of a serious relationship and discover your partner once had a blood covenant with an erstwhile lover, would you go ahead and marry that person?

    MY OPINION:

Life begins with blood formation, so having a blood covenant with someone else means that you already have a life with that person. Marrying such a person is like getting married to a person’s body while their soul is with someone else.

So NO I can’t marry such person.

    What about you?
